Patricia Villegas Marín, president of the teleSUR news multiplatform, attended a series of meetings in Doha, Qatar, to strengthen cooperation ties and follow up on strategic agreements for the expansion and strengthening of the global network.

During her stay, Ms. Villegas held a meeting with Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Rumaihi, CEO of Qatar News Agency (QNA). The conversation focused on creating synergies to expand the flow of information and content between the two platforms, with the aim of offering their audiences a more complete and diverse perspective of the world.
Ms. Villegas also held a meeting with Darwish Saleh Ahmed Alshebani, president of the Green Zone Foundation (GZF), to review the progress of the agreement between the two entities and ensure that it is having a tangible impact.
These meetings consolidate teleSUR’s strategy to position itself as a news reference in the Global South, through partnerships that strengthen its reach and the quality of its news offerings.
